Bauce unveils patented Bluepress H3 Versus E-Power at Simac Tanning Tech

At Simac Tanning Tech, the Trissino (Vicenza) based company, a leader in tanning machinery for over half a century, is set to showcase its innovative three-roller electric press at the upcoming exhibition.

Bauce, a prominent industry player from Trissino (Vicenza) within the Arzignano district, will feature its cutting-edge Bluepress H3 Versus E-Power at its booth during Simac Tanning Tech, scheduled for September 23-25. For over fifty years, this Venetian enterprise has been at the forefront of the tanning sector, particularly excelling in leather pressing and drying. Founded in 1970 by Attilio Bauce, the business is now capably run by his three children, Luca, Sabrina, and Michela, all of whom will be present at the Milan fair. Over recent decades, they have consistently met, and often overcome, the challenges of the global market with innovative and technologically advanced machinery.
“The Bluepress H3 Versus E-Power,” explains Luca Bauce, “is our three- roller electric press, featuring our patented ‘Versus’ technology, which allows for the opening of hides even side-to-side. What we’re bringing to the fair, available for both Italian and international clients, is the result of the latest technological advancements from our technical and R&D department, which has continually worked to enhance its performance. Our unwavering goal is to satisfy our clients’ demands.” In an era where optimizing energy consumption has become an absolute and increasingly urgent priority, Bauce continues to demonstrate its pioneering spirit with this new machine. The Bluepress H3 Versus E-Power is projected to deliver energy savings of between 25% and 35% compared to its hydraulic counterparts, thanks to its “E-Power” technology and fully electric operation. This directly translates into a significant positive impact on operational costs. Furthermore, its increased working speed leads to substantial improvements in overall performance and production capacity. The benefits of this machine extend beyond simple energy savings over traditional models; its superior drying capability, which removes a greater amount of water from the leather, yields considerable economic and operational advantages in subsequent vacuum or frame processing, partly due to reduced gas consumption.
Sustainability and energy efficiency are set to be key themes at the 2025 edition of the Tanning Machinery Exhibition. “These are fundamental characteristics of our machines, but they also represent a market imperative, not just to comply with increasingly stringent regulations, but also to reduce consumption,” states Luca Bauce. “We embarked on this strategy some time ago, making a decisive shift towards electric models that have almost entirely replaced hydraulic technology.” There’s a sense of cautious optimism ahead of the fair’s opening. “We don’t deny that we expect a great deal from this event,” concludes Luca Bauce, “because Milan is undeniably the most important international fair in our sector. We do a lot of business abroad; this year, we’ve already exhibited at major international shows in Chennai, India, Brazil, and Hong Kong, and now Simac Tanning Tech awaits us.”
