Costruzioni Meccaniche Persico, two major innovations coming in 2025

At the recent Simac Tanning Tech exhibition in Milan, Costruzioni Meccaniche Persico, headquartered in San ffiovanni Lupatoto (Verona), showcased its flagship flesh pumps. The company is now looking ahead to the new year

“For this edition of the fair, we exhibited our flagship products, namely our flesh pumps. However, our focus is already on 2025, when we will unveil two major innovations for our brand,” announced Alberto Nieri, CEO of Costruzioni Meccaniche Persico, during Simac Tanning Tech. The company specializes in the production of continuous fleshing machines, a sector in which it is a global leader. This prestigious company, founded in 1963, has a long history of combining technology and expertise to deliver exceptional results. Last fall, they relocated to a new, 20,000 square meter facility in the industrial zone, offering the potential for future expansion. The new site boasts two warehouses totaling over 6,500 square meters of covered space, housing offices, production, assembly and warehousing.
“This year is pivotal for us, with two major projects slated for release.” stated Nieri. “The first is expected to launch by year’s end, followed by the second in early 2025. Both are patent-pending and poised to become flagship products for the future, marking a significant turning point for our company in terms of turnover and other key figures. We have dedicated substantial time and resources to the second project in particular, as we believe we have created something truly innovative. There have been some rumors circulating among industry insiders, but we prefer to make an official announcement at the appropriate time.”
Costruzioni Meccaniche Persico reported a successful showing at this year’s Simac Tanning Tech. Nieri explained, “Unfortunately, due to tight deadlines, the flagship Fleshing Machine S23 was not available for display at the fair. This continuous fleshing machine features the innovative ACS (Air Control System), a touchscreen interface that allows for quick and easy management and adjustment of machine settings. We had to prioritize the timely delivery of the latest model to a customer who urgently needed it for their production cycle. However, our top-of-the-range machine was showcased at our booth through displays, videos and brochures, generating significant interest among Italian and international operators. We also exhibited a range of accessories, some featuring significant technological advancements, which represent just a small portion of our production but demonstrate our ability to offer solutions that can be integrated with various machines to meet market demands.”
In recent years, the company has reinforced its commitment to sustainability, both in terms of its products and the well-being of its employees. “For some time now,” explained the CEO, “we have been working, both at the design level and in research and development, to minimize energy consumption. This is a long-standing business strategy, independent of rising raw material costs, that led us to focus on the hydraulics. Removing piping systems proactively we avoid the risk of ruptures and subsequent oil contamination in the environment or tannery water supplies. We’ve made crucial decisions regarding our painting processes, opting for environmentally friendly, non-polluting products that preempt upcoming restrictions in this area.”
