News challenges for trade fairs
Fenac’s CEO, Marcio Jung, recalls the challenges that the new scenery brings to business fairs. “At Fenac, for example, we have a team that analyzes each situation, fair and segment to find the best way to conduct, because there is no standard solution. The face-to-face fairs will have improvements in terms of biosafety, while other fairs have the capacity to adapt well to the hybrid system, which can be virtual or physical”, he points out. Regarding the role of trade fairs to retake the market, Jung´s points out that the main tools are dialogue and knowledge. “It is essential at this moment to listen to our interlocutors – exhibitors, customers and the sector -, as they need to participate in this reconstruction to build together this new way of doing a fair”, he points out. “In addition, we must base ourselves on what we have already been doing, which is to focus on specialized content. We need to continue bringing moments of knowledge and learning at the fairs, with lectures with content that can transform people and the day to by day of business ”, concludes Jung.
