FUTURMODA October 16 e 17 Face to face with innovation
Futurmoda, international exhibition focusing on leather, machinery, materials and accessories related to the fashion system – specifically on leather goods and footwear –, Previews, innovations, but above all lots of business: this and more will feature the next edition of Futurmoda, scheduled October 16 – 17, 2019, to be held as usual at the IFA in Elche, Spain.
Boasting an area of around 12,000 square meters, the IFA in Elche, Alicante, is the perfect venue for both exhibitors – over 300 this edition – and visitors, who can easily access and check out materials’ trends, fashion previews and get in touch with the most important brands on the international scene.
Last edition closed its doors on March ’19, achieving once again excellent results and strengthening its position as one of the most significant events of the sector in Europe. The event, organized by AEC – Asociación Española de Empresas de Componentes para el Calzado, is constantly growing internationally year after year: compared to last edition, a 10% increase was registered in terms of exhibitors, mostly from Italy, Portugal, Germany, France, Turkey, Bulgaria and China. 12% of them were first timers, a stimulating data as it underlines an increasing interest due to the good reputation of the event, now established as a true reference in the market.
Held twice a year, in March and October, Futurmoda features a complete overview on the latest innovations in the field of leather, ranging from accessories to leather goods, from components for the fashion sector to machinery. In recent years, the latter have become the main attraction for visitors and buyers, who are very interested in innovations related to automation and technology, according to the requirements of the Industry 4.0 plan, aimed at optimizing, speeding up and increasingly ‘ecologize’ production processes, whether related to footwear, tanning or leather goods in general.
Over the years the event has become a real “melting pot” of business, including the chemical sector and synthetic fabric, which complete the exhaustive range of categories on display.
The next fall/winter 2020/21 collections will be showcased next edition, already scheduled October 16th and 17th. www.futurmoda.es
