Gianni Crespi Foderami is a company specializing in the production of high-quality clothing linings, now led by the fourth generation of the family. “We don’t focus on large volumes,” the managers explain, “but on the production of unique, high-quality items. Here we present our new high-performance linings: to meet the needs of some customers, we have introduced high-tenacity and cut-resistant technical linings to our collection, which are receiving an excellent feedback.
Their peculiarity is that, while maintaining a soft and supple hand, they offer high performance, resisting over 33,000 Martindale cycles (the test that measures the durability of a fabric) with significant tear levels. It is a nylon that is normally used in a very technical field. Our challenge was to use thin threads to obtain a soft hand, and we succeeded while maintaining high-level performance.
Our collection is completely eco-sustainable, with certified fibers that comply with ZDHC chemical standards. The fibers used are GRS certified, those recycled, and FSC, those of natural origin, made with tree cellulose. Quality, flexibility, competitiveness, and service have always been our goals, and we pursue them also through continuous technological updating and careful management of the company organization.”
