Lenzi Fashion Line, trendy technology

LENZI EGISTO® TEXTILE SOLUTIONS TARGETED FOR THE SPORTS, OUTDOOR, MILITARY AND WORK SECTORS MEET FASHION: THE LENZI FASHION LINE IS BORN, A BLEND BETWEEN TECHNICAL AND AESTHETICS FEATURES

Conveying our technical know-how in a fashion perspective was a beautiful and engaging challenge,” says Lilia Di Lauro, head of Fashon Line Division at Lenzi Egisto®. The Tuscan brand presented at Lineapelle a new line of fabrics in a fashion version, made with technical yarns from the company’s in-house dedicated looms. A “techno-fashion” collection, that has all the potentials to win over the new trends of the luxury market.

Traditional weavings, jacquard patterns, three-dimensional designs, brocade, reflective or quilted effects, mesh and denim nets with the most original aspects, and even prints with an artistic touch, embroidery, canvas and délavé are born from the company’s technical know-how in treating and special fibers such as Cordura, Kevlar, Dyneema. And again PU Tek, a yarn with a polyester core and a polyurethane outer covering: “‘Resistent like armadillo skin’ is the most appropriate metaphor to understand the innovative qualities of the fabric made by Lenzi by FF,” Lilia Di Lauro points out.
Aesthetics and technology, in short, are creatively integrated to give life to high-performance, waterproof fabrics with high tenacity and tear- resistant capabilities, rethought through designs and finishes capable of catching the eye of high fashion and satisfying any customization need.

In this context, the importance of keeping an eye on sustainability emerges. “The focus is on nylon mono-fiber yarn, which is easier to reuse or dispose of,” continues Lilia Di Lauro. “Through a special heat finishing, the nylon yarn gives the fabric a glossy resin-effect while not using resins. In-house research has developd a ‘vegan wool’ from a natural 100% linen yarn, thanks to an innovative finishing process capable of making it feel comparable to the original.”

“With regard specifically to the technical compartment,” adds Daniele Leoni, sales manager of Lenzi Egisto®, “the trends focus on lightness, breathability, and strength. These are essential performance for the safety sector, which is increasingly focused on the concepts of fashion and comfort.”
