MANIFATTURA PRI.MA.TEX ELEVATES ITS TEXTILE PRODUCTS FOR WORK AND SPORT FOOTWEAR BY FOCUSING ON LIGHTNESS, BREATHABILITY AND PROCESSING SIMPLICITY
Developing cutting-edge, high-performance technical fabrics for the production of PPE is the core mission of Manifattura Pri.Ma.Tex. The company achieves this goal by consist-ently aiming to raise safety standards well beyond current regulations, meet criteria for absolute comfort during prolonged use, and draw inspiration from aesthetic innovation trends. The Prato-based company returned to Lineapelle, showcasing several new prod-ucts specifically engineered to enhance the quality of protection and safety while simul-taneously simplifying manufacturing processes.
DY-LIGHT is a super-conductive, felt-based textile anti-puncture laminate designed for 3mm PS nails. It comprises a single layer just three and a half millimeters thick, which remains constant and stable across the entire surface. These characteristics establish the product not only as the lightest on the market but also the easiest to process during pro-duction stages. Crucially, as it is neither bonded nor co-needled, DY-LIGHT ensures a clean cut, eliminating the risk of delamination, and facilitates skiving. Furthermore, it pre-sents no adhesion issues when paired with thermoplastic materials or polyurethane in-jections. Stable super-conductivity values are ensured over time thanks to the percent-age of graphene fiber incorporated within the material.
For both safety and sport footwear applications, the company introduced new, highly structured 3D jacquard fabrics for uppers, alongside new through-hole meshes optimized for summer use. These materials are characterized by excellent durability and are capa-ble of providing the foot with greater breathability, freshness, and lightness. Among the highlights of this edition are high-tenacity polyester fabrics for uppers, designed for high-performance footwear. These fabrics can be sublimation- printed with various designs proposed by the company or seamlessly customized according to client requests, lever-aging the in-house graphic department.
