The company, based in Vicenza, is set to showcase its latest technological advancements, which are truly setting it apart in both the Italian and international markets, this September at the Simac Tanning Tech fair in Milan.
Pajusco Tecnologie of Montebello Vicentino, Vicenza, will once again be a prominent exhibitor at the 2025 Simac Tanning Tech fair, happening in Milan from September 23rd to 25th. With over 60 years of experience, Pajusco has been a pioneer in developing cutting-edge systems for the tanning industry, particularly in automation and drums with their related accessories. This year, they’re excited to unveil several innovations to a global audience. “We’ll have some exciting new developments,” confirms Olimpio Storti, who, along with his brothers, leads the family business. “However, we’re not ready to reveal everything just yet, as we want to keep an element of surprise. I can tell you that this year’s highlight will be an innovative stainless steel laboratory drum. We’re confident it will generate significant interest and be a great success. We’ll be able to explain all its features in detail to visitors at our stand. We’ll also be showcasing other highly innovative products we’ve been working on, which will soon be featured in our catalogs.” Pajusco Tecnologie continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to refreshing its product line, thereby meeting evolving market demands. “We remain deeply dedicated to development and research,” Storti affirms, “with the clear goal of further advancing in automation. This is an area where we are certainly more progressed than many of our competitors. Despite the current period of stagnation, we’re continuing our investments across the company. We’ve recently acquired new machinery to produce polypropylene drums, and further projects are already slated for the coming months and years. Notably, we’ve established new, state-of-the-art laboratories at our headquarters, enabling us to create even more advanced automation solutions. We firmly believe we’re on the right track, consistently responding to the demands of the market, which always values innovation.”
“For any tannery, we can provide a complete, branded service capable of fully automating all leather processing steps. Our comprehensive automatic system incorporates a range of innovative technologies, which will also be on display in Milan this year. This includes JDrum, our proprietary app developed over recent years, which allows for remote operation. JDrum is truly the first application of its kind in the tanning sector, enabling remote control of all functions. What’s more, this system can even be installed on a customer’s existing machinery and automation, eliminating the need for equipment replacement.” There’s a palpable sense of optimism for the September trade event. “Simac Tanning Tech has long been the global benchmark fair for our sector, so we’re anticipating the usual substantial turnout, including a significant number of international operators. We’re also encouraged by the fact that even before the summer, we had already scheduled numerous appointments with both domestic and international clients, whom we look forward to welcoming to the Pajusco stand, alongside all other visitors. As for the economic climate of the industry? While the slowdown is widespread due to reduced consumption, we are beginning to see some cautious signs of recovery. Our hope is that this pick-up will materialize by the end of this year, or at the latest, in the first half of 2026.”
