MANIFATTURA PRI.MA.TEX FOCUSES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF UPPER FABRICS WITH A PROPER BALANCE BETWEEN TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE AND AESTHETICS

Manifattura Pri.Ma.Tex, a Prato-based company specialized since 1997 in high- performance, environmentally sustainable textile technologies for the production of PPE for the industrial and construction, firefighting and law enforcement, automotive, extreme sports and forestry sectors, is always aimed at developing quality and safe products well beyond current regulations, comfortable for constant use as well as customizable according to trends in terms of aesthetic innovation.

Recently introduced at Lineapelle is the new article HT-GO: “This is a high-tenacity upper fabric, featuring high resistance to abrasion, tear, and flexion, with breathability feature that make it particularly comfortable and suitable for footwear, such as safety shoes, to be worn all day long,” says Cristian Tartoni, Export Sales Department manager. “Its carbon- effect look is very trendy. We are focusing a lot on technical uppers for safety footwear, and along the lines of the HT-GO product we have created several proposals that also take into account the different style needs of the younger generation of workers, who gives great attention to details and the use of color.”

Leading at the fair, among others, is an innovative fabric with a predefined design, developed to cover the entire upper in a customized way through the use of a single material. “All of our fabrics,” Tartoni continues, “can be subjected to treatments that make them completely water-repellent, as well as made from GRS- certified sustainable fibers. Eco safety is Manifattura Pri.Ma.Tex’s line of environmentally sustainable and highly technical products, consisting of yarns made up entirely of recycled materials (PET made from post- consumer plastic bottles), which can guarantee the same performance as articles created from virgin raw materials.
