Prym Fashion, a leading fferman multinational snap button manufacturer, participated as a supplier to Safety apparel manufacturers at the latest edition of A+A Fair.
We spoke with Jennifer Bong, Segment Manager Workwear Europe, who told us about their experience at the fair.
“As a supplier of snaps and other garment accessories, Prym provides the smallest parts of a garment, but with an important impact: its functionality. Above all in the workwear sector, the technical requirements and reliability of a product must be high, and clients often tend to prefer more classic solutions. This year, for A+A, we decided to focus more on innovations, which should bring some variety to the workwear collections: for example, our reflective caps in various colours, such as silver, anthracite, orange, and yellow, which serve as an eye-catcher on clothing and at the same time satisfy the safety aspect. Alternatively, our titanium color based on stainless steel, which is obtained without any galvanic treatment (saving chemicals, water and electricity) and is suitable for cleaning or industrial washing.
The A+A safety fair is always a great event, where we meet existing and potential new clients. After the last A+A in 2021, which was still affected by the Covid pandemic, it was really nice to find such a lively and international fair again, which allowed us to make new contacts all over the world and start new projects.
The labor and security market maintains growth potential, although we still face difficult general conditions. Products are becoming more sophisticated, more fashionable, and manufacturers are trying to improve the level of sustainability, but in the end the real essence is still the same: functionality and reliability, to provide the best possible protection and support in the daily working lives of millions of people.”
