Danese inventiveness gives life to another sustainable and cost-effective solution to quickly replace the brush rollers of tannery machines
Detaching the hides, placing them on support surfaces, optimizing the movement of the leather and much more: brush rollers are an essential element in every tannery, being mounted on many machines to carry out the most diverse activities. Despite its indispensability, this tool is impractical and cumbersome, and transporting the entire brush also requires expensive and polluting costs due to its high weight.
Danese, always aimed at innovating useful, practical and economical solutions for all tannery operations, listened carefully to the requests of customers, who often found themselves having to change the entire roller shaft, still in excellent condition, due to worn and no longer efficient brushes, encountering maneuvering difficulties and facing unnecessary transport costs for replacement.
Re-Brush® is the answer to this problem, convenient and cost-effective, which consists of a simple sleeve equipped with brushes that is slipped onto the original roller just like a sock: the operation is easy and intuitive and takes place in less than 15 minutes. Thanks to the innovative and ad-hoc design, in fact, the sleeve can be applied comfortably, being inserted from the two ends of the roller and fixed with a special washer which prevents it from detaching when the brush comes into operation.
This solution not only improves the quality of the work carried out by the tannery operator thanks to its easy replacement, but also results in significant savings both in terms of transport costs (80%) and replacement of the entire roller (50%). All this translates into a lower environmental impact, as it reduces waste – the original roller remains unchanged – and handling has less impact in terms of CO₂ emissions considering the significantly lower weight.
