The Sire-Tex brand collection has expanded to include new upper materials specifically designed for safety footwear, complementing the existing range dedicated to the safety, trekking, and winter markets. The safety sector is gaining increasing prominence within the collection, featuring microfibers engineered specifically for safety uppers. Among the established market favorites are Microcoat, Microsuede, and the Protect Line.
Microcoat: A coated microfiber available in black or white, offered in various thicknesses to meet both S1 (waterproof) and S2 (waterproof and breathable) standards. Upon request, it is also available PFC-free, a feature that has become a critical requirement across numerous industries.
Microsuede: Suede-effect material available in various thicknesses in black, meeting S1 or S2 standards (waterproof and breathable).
Protect Line: A coated microfiber boasting excellent abrasion resistance, making it ideal for the manufacturing of toe caps and upper inserts. Available in a variety of finishes, this material allows for the creation of high-functional products that also feature striking, customized designs.
Alongside these core products, the range is expanding to include microfibers designed for inner linings. A key addition is Suedeline, a suede-effect lining with superior abrasion resistance, perfect for manufacturers seeking leather- free solutions. We strictly maintain our philosophy of staying “in step” with the market to create made-to-measure articles for our clients. Our long- standing portfolio for safety footwear also features Aerpluss, a range of 3D mesh fabrics offering exceptional breathability due to their unique structure and design. Available in polyester or a mixed polyamide/polyester blend for enhanced abrasion resistance, these fabrics come in various designs and colors, including custom options, with weights ranging from 210 to 330 g/ m².
