Spraytech at the exhibition: “Essence. Custom-Made” to be the guiding theme

At Simac Tanning Tech in Milan, the company, bsed in Gambellara (Vicenza), a specialist in designing and manufacturing paint distribution plants and systems, }ow regulators and painting booths and equipment, won’t be showcasing new machinery. Instead, it will present a method.

“We’ll be at Simac Tanning Tech 2025 with a clear message: we’re not displaying a new machine, but a method,” explains Stefano Mastrotto, outlining the strategy for Spraytech. Based in Gambellara, Vicenza, part of the Arzignano tanning district, the company specializes in the design and construction of fully automated paint distribution systems, flow regulators, and painting booths and equipment. The “Essence” Project, first introduced at last year’s Milan fair, will remain a cornerstone for the Vicenza industry. However, the management is also pursuing a virtuous path that encompasses several other key areas.
“Our objective,” Mastrotto elaborates, “is to offer a comprehensive technical service that truly enhances each client’s unique characteristics. We design custom-made systems and refine existing ones, leveraging over 30 years of finishing expertise to help every company achieve its ideal balance of quality, efficiency, and process control.”
Is there a specific slogan that will define your presence at the international exhibition from September 23rd to 25th?
“Our guiding theme will be ‘Essence. Custom-Made,’ a statement of both our approach and our intentions. We believe that true value today isn’t found in complexity, but in the ability to identify what’s genuinely needed. Every client has distinct requirements, and Spraytech aims to be the technical partner capable of delivering essential, functional, and sustainable solutions.
What are your expectations regarding attendance, especially concerning potential clients from abroad, and from which regions in particular?
“Despite the general global economic uncertainty, which is impacting economies worldwide, we anticipate a strong turnout of international operators. We’re particularly keen on visitors from Europe, Turkey, South America, and Southeast Asia, although we’re recognized and valued across all continents. Our active international network has already allowed us to make some forecasts, particularly with companies seeking flexible solutions to optimize processes and costs. Our booth will be staffed by a technical-commercial team ready to engage, listen, and address any customer need.”
What do you believe will be the central themes or main drivers of this event?
“Sustainability, as it has been for several editions, will undoubtedly remain a core theme. For Spraytech, this translates to maximum energy efficiency, reduced consumption, and process simplification. Our contribution is based on concrete data, not just slogans: we help clients reduce waste and enhance quality through a technical approach that is measurable, accessible, and integrable. We are confident that this is not only the right path but also an inevitable one for the years to come.”
Beyond sustainability, how much will other contemporary themes like Industry 5.0, artificial intelligence, and technological innovations influence your new product strategies?
“These are already deeply integrated into our operations. Our technical department, in which we invest significant resources annually, is developing solutions that incorporate AI for real-time spray parameter control and predictive maintenance of systems. For us, Industry 5.0 means empowering the operator with smarter tools. Innovation isn’t just a technological driver; it’s a way of thinking. That’s why we’ve chosen to invest in the next generation: we’ve donated a Spraytech drying tunnel to a local Technical Technological Economic Institute, allowing students to ‘get their hands on leather’ and truly experience what they’re studying.”
That’s a meaningful gesture that deserves to be followed…
“For us, innovation also means this: pass on passion, respect for materials, and a culture of well-executed work. And we’re not stopping there: we organize internships, workshops, and meetings to support students and young people on their journeys. Because if the future is intelligent, it must also be shared.”
Are you optimistic about an economic recovery in the second half of 2025, and what do you see as the prerequisites for the immediate future?
“Unfortunately, the market is clearly struggling this year, and recent global events are only adding to the confusion and uncertainty. We hope to see signs of a recovery by the end of the year, though it will likely only truly materialize in 2026. We foresee a more selective market, where businesses will need to recognize those offering robust solutions, genuine technical support, and measurable results. Our company is fully prepared to meet this demand with proven tools, a clear vision, and the ability to adapt intelligently and flexibly to each client’s specific needs.”
