Spraytech unveils the “Essenza” Project

At the Simac Tanning Tech fair in Milan, Spraytech, an innovative company based in Gambellara (Vicenza), introduced a groundbreaking concept for finishing lines: the “Essenza” Project. This revolutionary approach features interchangeable and customizable modules, offering significant advantages in terms of cost reduction, space optimization and enhanced leather quality.

Spraytech, a leading manufacturer of paint distribution systems flow regulators and fully automated spraying booths and systems, chose the prestigious Simac Tanning Tech event, held at the Milan fairgrounds from September 17th to 19th, to launch this innovative project. “At this year’s fair,” stated Stefano Mastrotto, during an interview at the company’s booth, “we introduced a new concept of finishing line. This is not just a conventional sequential arrangement of booth-tunnel modules, but a next-level approach offering a highly customizable and comprehensive structure that precisely caters to individual client needs. We presented a scaled model of this concept at the fair. This is the essence of the ‘Essenza’ Project: a versatile, adaptable framework that clients can tailor to their specific production requirements. “He continued, “Our company is well-established in Italian manufacturing districts and many international markets. Our clients value the advanced technology integrated into our booths, tunnels, mechanisms and other components. With the ‘Essenza’ Project, we empower them to combine these elements in a modular fashion, like assembling a puzzle, to create a versatile machine that fulfills multiple functions.” A miniature model showcased at the booth effectively illustrated the innovative project and highlighted the full potential of Spraytech’s technology. “The scaled model of the double carousel we presented,” Mastrotto explained, “goes beyond a traditional spray booth. By incorporating a secondary handling system with rotary, elliptical, or alternating motion, it replicates processes typically performed by separate machines. This design significantly reduces space requirements, processing time and potentially even investment costs. It essentially offers a ‘two-for-one’ solution, enabling the spray line to handle tasks previously assigned to other equipment. Furthermore, the line can be easily expanded or contracted by adding or removing modules as needed. This adaptability allows for both standard production and the development of new processes using the same machine.” “At the booth, we positioned it in line with the tunnel, which represents the classic model of the entire painting line,” concluded Mastrotto. However, we also developed two new models specifically for this year’s fair: the mentioned booth with the double carousel and a multi-stage drying tunnel with a multi- level design. We have fully developed the entire system, including all technology and internal equipment and have functional prototypes at our headquarters. The ‘Essenza’ Project offers exceptional production versatility and significant cost savings. This year’s Simac Tanning Tech was a resounding success for us, with strong attendance at our booth throughout the event, including many international visitors.”
