Stahl opens a Center of Excellence in Apex, North Carolina, USA

Stahl, a global leader in specialty coatings for flexible materials, has opened a new Center of Excellence in Apex, North Carolina, marking a return to its American roots. Founded in the United States in 1930, the company aims to bolster its presence in the North American market, which accounts for approximately 20% of its global revenue.

The center, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, will serve as an innovation hub for key sectors such as automotive, apparel, luxury goods, and packaging. It will provide a collaborative space for customers, OEMs, and partners to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.

Stahl’s commitment to sustainability is also reflected in the new center, which will focus on developing environmentally friendly coating solutions. The company is part of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and has achieved an EcoVadis Platinum rating.
