High- performance materials, tailored to the demands of haute couture, once again took center stage at the Lenzi Egisto booth during Lineapelle. The three-day event was marked by a steady stream of visits from key, long-standing clients. The brand, rooted in centuries of tradition within the Prato district and specialized in producing innovative textiles for protective footwear and apparel in sports and professional fields, continues to translate its technical expertise into a fashion context. It presents a collection with all the cre-dentials to meet the latest luxury market trends, all while adhering to the highest standards of quality and sustainability in both process and product. The undisputed star is New Denim: a nylon fabric boasting high mechanical performance. It is ex-tremely resistant to wear, tear, and abrasion, remains stable over time, and is engineered for fashion, design, workwear, and sports. It is ideal for any context seeking definitive solutions to the weaknesses of cotton, first and foremost, fading. In fact, the colors in this line are exceptionally color-fast and uniform, maintaining their hue consistently over time. Alongside the Umberto Lenzi collection, an exclusive apparel line that blends luxury fibers like cashmere and silk with nylon, other materials drawing significant interest included coated and thermoformed fabrics, colored cotton denim, non-shrink wools, and a unique vegan wool. This last product, a 100% linen textile, is comparable to animal fiber in both look and feel, thanks to a special finishing process.
