After Windtex, Vagotex launches an innovative membrane on the market
The company was founded in 1980 in Vago di Lavagno (VR), hence the name Vagotex, to serve the footwear market in the areas of Bussolengo (VR) and Montichiari (BS), first supplying reinforcements for footwear and then the first simple linings. In the mid-nineties, there was a large investment in membranes, especially for technical clothing for which a membrane called Windtex was proposed, that won great success immediately, being on average more elastic and able to adapt well to the needs of sportsmen. At Lineapelle, the entire sample collection of products for footwear was visible with different types of membranes and technical linings, articles intended for the military with both winter and lighter garments. In recent years, military supplies and those dedicated to police forces, well known to everybody by now due to the wars in many nations, have particularly increased.
In the field of certifications, ISO9000 since 1999 and Oeko-tex for at least 15 years certify the absence of a wide range of harmful substances. The next investment should concern the world of motorcycle boots for a technical sector that would allow working with the Italian excellences of the Sportsystem of Montebelluna (TV).
