Dermacolor realizza prodotti chimici di ricerca e lavorazione nel settore conciario efficaci e affidabili, continuamente sottoposti a processi migliorativi e trattamenti specifici per aumentarne l’efficacia. Oltre alla gamma di articoli metal free e/o chrome free destinati ai comparti calzatura, pelletteria, abbigliamento e arredamento e realizzati anche senza l’utilizzo di glutaraldeide, la Dermacolor ha sviluppato la nuova linea Viderma Dyes, di facile utilizzo ed altamente performante, che non contiene coloranti che possano rilasciare ammine aromatiche vietate in seguito a scissione riduttiva. Per il lancio della nuova linea di coloranti, Dermacolor si è affidata ad un maestro del colore, Gianfranco Giannoni, che ha interpretato le 12 immagini del calendario 2018. Tra i prodotti di punta troviamo poi, quelli a bassissimo contenuto di solfati, la cui concentrazione negli scarichi conciari costituisce solitamente un serio problema a livello ambientale. Ben il 99% dei prodotti Dermacolor si aggiudica il “cartellino verde”, un utile strumento per il cliente che in questo modo non rischia di violare le limitazioni imposte dai capitolati (mrsl). Il restante 1% comprende quei preparati che per la loro formulazione, anche se non vietati alla vendita, sono però soggetti a restrizioni: questi prodotti cosiddetti a “cartellino giallo” vengono sempre valutati dai tecnici aziendali nella fase di progettazione di un articolo, affinché il pellame finito soddisfi al 100% le richieste dei capitolati e quel livello di qualità ed eccellenza necessario alla piena soddisfazione del cliente.
Viderma Dyes, much more than green
Dermacolor manufactures cutting-edge and utterly reliable chemicals designed for the tanning industry and for leather processing: these products undergo a constant upgrading process as well as specific treatments aimed at increasing their effectiveness. In addition to the range of both metal- and chrome-free articles, totally devoid of glutaraldehyde, that can be used in several sectors – that is, footwear, leatherware, apparel and furniture –, the company based in Pisa province has developed the brand-new line Viderma Dyes: easy to use and high-performance, these dyestuffs don’t contain any colourant that may release forbidden aromatic amines as a result of reductive fission. For the launch of this brand-new range of products, Dermacolor has partnered with a true expert in the field of colours, namely Gianfranco Giannoni, who has brought to life the twelve images comprised in the 2018 calendar. Among the flagship products provided by the corporate catalogue, there is also a series of compounds featuring a significantly low level of sulphates, whose concentration in the tanning wastewaters is still a major issue in terms of environmental safeguard. The striking majority (99%) of the chemicals manufactured by Dermacolor has been awarded with the “green card” – a useful tool that allows the customer to fall in line with the requirements set by the current safety specifications (mrsl). The remaining 1% encompasses those formulations that, due to their chemical structure, can be sold, yet are still subject to some restrictions: the so-called “yellow card” products are always monitored by the corporate technicians during the design phase of an article. In this way, the finished hides can thoroughly comply with the regulations’ standards and can guarantee the required quality standards in order to fully meet the customer’s expectations.
