Fotonica 4 è un centro di lavoro multitasking per l’accoppiatura delle taschine delle carte di credito con rimboccatura e rigatura a caldo che una volta programmato, lavora senza l’ausilio dell’operatore. La macchina è collegata ad un Personal Computer sul quale è installato il software Overmec HMI che gestisce la programmazione e la sequenza dei vari cicli di lavoro. La Fotonica 4 ha ora spray-gun regolabile in altezza da programma. Anche la quantità di adesivo applicato è ora regolata dal software e non più manualmente. Lo scarico dell’unità incollatrice ed il carico della macchina rimboccatrice viene gestito da un robot a cinematica parallela. Un sistema di visione ottica controlla il corretto assemblaggio delle parti. Se la macchina viene connessa a Internet Overmec può fare diagnostica e assistenza tecnica on line.
Increasingly robotic and mechatronic evolution
Fotonica 4 is a multitasking machining center for assembling the pocket of credit cards with linear folding machine. This machine once programmed works without the operator assistance. 
The unloading from the gluing machine and the load of the linear folding machine is controlled by a parallel kinematic robot. Fotonica 4 has now spray-gun adjustable in height from the program. The amount of adhesive applied is now regulated by the software and not manually. An optical vision system checks the correct assembly of the parts. The machine is connected to a Personal Computer on which the installed Overmec HMI software perform the control of the working cycle. If the machine is connected to Internet Overmec can do diagnostics and on-line technical assistance.
