On that occasion, the Dutch firm plans to launch a new issue of the Product Passport, that is, a useful booklet firstly published in 2017, that puts at tanneries’ disposal a thorough overview concerning the features and performances of all the corporate articles – a valuable tool conceived to support the customers, helping them choose their chemicals wisely, so as to reduce the environmental impact of the production processes as well as to cut down the resulting outlay. The forthcoming fair will also provide the ideal stage to showcase the latest collection of leather articles, especially shoe uppers and furniture upholstery, treated with the best articles manufactured by Smit & Zoon and Codyeco, the Italian firm specialized in the field of tanning chemicals taken over in 2017 – a profitable partnership based on the complete blending of both businesses’ professional assets, technical skills and know- how, resulting in a comprehensive array of top-notch, high-performance, yet eco-friendly solutions. Special attention will be paid to the results achieved by SYNTAN ZLR 100 – an innovative, zeolite-based, chrome-free re-tanning agent conceived to lower both the quantity of required chemicals and dyestuffs and the volume of hazardous, polluting substances ending up in wastewater. www.smitzoon.com
