ESCOMAR, established in 1973, the company based in Arzignano (Vicenza province) deals with the production, maintenance and sales of both new and used tanning machines: the latest innovations were exhibited during the fair.
At the latest edition of Simac Tanning Tech, held in February at the Rho-fieramilano fairgrounds, ESCOMAR ITALIA exhibited a range of new machines, designed to win over the domestic as well as the global market. Freshly upgraded in terms of quality and reliability, these cutting-edge solutions embody the firm’s 46 years of experience in the business as well as its ability to understand and fully meet the tanning sector’s demands. Founded in 1973 as an enterprise specialized in the sales and overhauling of used machines, the company has always stood out for its constant commitment to R&D activities, putting at the core of its corporate philosophy key values like quality and reliability. Currently, the core business revolves around the production of new machinery, backed by an effective maintenance service that, thanks to the collaboration with many tanneries, it allows to provide more and more specialized technologies, tailored on the customer’s needs, able to fulfill the demands of an increasingly sophisticated market, especially when it comes to automation, competitiveness, reliability and performances.
“During the exhibition,” stated Mariano Ferrari, ESCOMAR’s sales manager, “we have showcased several innovations, starting with a range of sammying machines for drying leather. Compared to the previous models, this line has been designed to put at the clientele’s disposal state-of-the-art, highly efficient solutions, provided with an advanced spreading system: the wet-blue sammying machine PCR7 is still the top of the range. We have also put on display an upgraded fleshing machine, perfectly balanced and able to guarantee a better control in terms of electronic components: said model has played a pivotal role in the corporate history, because, 45 years ago, our company was the very first one to launch it on the market, successfully arousing the sector’s curiosity and interest.”
As far as market performances are concerned, plenty of challenges are lying in store for the Veneto-based company in 2019. “Our sales network,” explained Ferrari, “encompasses 160 countries worldwide and the exports account for approximately 95% of the turnover. Our machines are devised to fully meet the demands and requirements of both large-sized and small-sized tanneries.” www.escomar.it
