Elico is an Ethiopian company founded in 1997 thanks to the initiative of a private investor.
The company produces high quality sheep, goat and cow hides and finished products – such as shoes and bags – in its four factories. Sheep hides, very thin and finely processed, are destined to the production of gloves, while goats hides are used by the footwear industry; cow hides are aimed at the national and international footwear industry and are used for uppers and linings.
