In early March, the international professional exhibition of footwear Euro Shoes Premiere Collection took place in Moscow. The Moscow exhibition of European footwear brands kicked off on a high note, as it took place despite the ongoing Covid-19 quarantine in many European countries.
For many brands from Italy, Turkey, Spain and other countries, this event became the only opportunity for “live” contact with Russian buyers who came to the exhibition from different parts of the country. The event was attended by all the main participants of Euro Shoes – popular in Russia German footwear brands Caprice, Tamaris, Marco Tozzi, S’Oliver, Jana, Rieker, Austrian brand Hogl, Spanish Pikolinos, Turkish MyM, Italian Ash and many others. Among the exhibitors, a large number of new brands from Turkey and Italy were noted.
The organizers of the event note that the first two days of the exhibition were especially active. On the second day of the event, His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Russian Federation Mehmet Samsar arrived at Euro Shoes, who visited the stands of Turkish shoe brands and greeted the participants of Euro Shoes.
Director of Euro Shoes Premiere Collection Anastasia Kornilieva assesses the past exhibition as successful. “Despite the difficult economic and epidemiological conditions, many participants came to Euro Shoes, and not only permanent ones. There were unexpectedly many Italian companies, visitors were actively writing orders. At the close of the exhibition, 90% of the exhibitors confirmed their attendance at the next Euro Shoes session, which will take place from 24 to 27 August 2021”, – she says.
Traditionally, seminars and master classes on the development of footwear and fashion retail, sales management were held in the conference hall of the exhibition. In parallel, on the Shoes Report Youtube channel, one could watch interviews with official representatives of leading shoe brands, participants of Euro Shoes.
The next Euro Shoes exhibition will be held from 24 to 27 August 2021, where shoe brands will present their collections for the spring-summer 2022 season.
