The recently launched trend book of Pt Leather InDesign, presented by the internationally renowned designer João Carvalho, focuses on the Spring Summer 2022
The PT Leather InDesign project, launched by the Portuguese Leather to promote the development of new innovative leathers according to the latest design trends, has aimed at effectively boosting the growth and development of the domestic leather sector, by fostering the implementation of more effective strategies, cutting-edge technologies and training programs, by encouraging the manufacturing of innovative, value-added articles in full compliance with the international quality standards and in line with the latest market trends.
As part of the promotion activities, APIC – (Associação Portuguesa dos Industriais de Curtumes), one of the supporting associations, seasonally releases the Trend Book, that encompasses the main trends when it comes to nuances, materials, textures, patterns and shapes, with a keen eye for sustainability and environmental safeguard.
Always at the service of the leather industry, APIC relies on its resources and expertise, supporting projects and initiatives aimed at fostering the sector’s growth, even internationally, and at promoting the value of the “made in Portugal” label.
