Athison is a branch of the historical Manifattura di Domodossola, founded in 1913, specializing in manufacturing of high quality leathergoods and bags.
The company, which has been always focusing on products’ research and development, survived two world wars and many recessions including the most recent one.
The men&women Athison unique collections are made of braided materials. The main objectives include respect for the environment. Vegetable leather is tanned by Tuscan artisans and all products and processes are 100% environmentally-friendly, thanks to natural materials such as cotton, linen, copper and nabuk involved in production.
The company hosts the entire production chain: managing all processing operations, it can proudly say that products are “Made in Italy” and “Made in Manifattura di Domodossola” as well. Its plant, one of the most beautiful examples of industrial architecture in Italy, hosts the braiding machinery and the large looms where Manifattura Domodossola’s famous braids are made, as well as the leather processing and the yarn waxing department.
