The time has finally come: the traditional DESMA House Fair will take place once again on 26 and 27 September 2022
Up until 2018, the DESMA House Fair provided a regular opportunity for the international footwear industry to get together in Achim. Every two years, more than 50 exhibitors and 780 visitors from six continents regularly came here to obtain information about innovations and new technologies. We are now about to continue that tradition. In keeping with the House Fair slogan “Technology matters” you will be able to find out more about the latest developments in direct soling, new automation tools and customisation solutions.
Design variety and flexibility
Customisation and flexibility are key factors in the footwear industry. Desma responded to these demands with new processes, machine configurations, designs and materials. Multi Section Injection (MSI), i.e. injecting material into different sections of the sole, allows us to create different features within one sole. The Centre Wedge and DESwing processes allow even more design options and different properties in multi-coloured soles as well as a combination of different materials.
