Ancient artisan techniques inspired by nature
The Sy&Vie Nature-à-Porter collection is created by manually working individual blocks of wood with the assembly technique developed by the designer Sylvie Quartara.
Nature is the raw material. On the bags of the collection, you can admire lively compositions with a unique style including animals, vegetation and drawings made with leaves and flowers. The founder of Sy&Vie, a designer of luxury accessories with French and Brazilian parents, grew up in Brazil and during her travels developed a true love for art in all its forms. After a career in product design in Milan, she went back to Brazil where she continued to work on several projects. In 2014, she started her line inspired by the beauty of nature and since then she creates finished products that are great artworks. “I have always felt big passion for the artisanal creation processes that give life to unique masterpieces. Every Sy&Vie bag is exclusive,” says Sylvie, who has over twenty years of experience in the production of accessories for both fashion and home design. “Nothing is more inspiring to me than nature. In current times, I believe that taking a break to contemplate it is the best way to appreciate beauty and excellence.”
