A satisfying outcome for Revomec, which will increase its production capacity next year. A further extension of the warehouse is also planned
The future is positive for Revomec, based in Trissino (Vicenza) and specialised in the production and sales of machines for processing leather, in particular drums and milling drums. This was said by owner Fabio Gecchele (who founded the company in 2011 together with partner Manuel Zordan), whom we met at his stand at Simac Tanning Tech.
“Our latest technologies give us momentum for the future,” his words, “we are very confident looking forward to next year, when we will certainly increase our production capacity and also the overall surface area of our covered area, which is currently 3,000 square meters, spread over three warehouses in the city of Trissino, all within the Arzignano leather district. The expansion will concern the main headquarters in the Arzignano Street, where for about a year and a half we have also relocated the offices, the technical department and the research and development staff, after a general renovation.”
“At the Milan Fair,” explained the owner of Revomec, “we showcased upgraded drums, which to some extent also reflected market demands. In particular, the latest improvements and technologies mainly concerned the Dropless 2.0 system, an added value of our production, which in recent years has been very successful in Italy and also abroad, giving us the opportunity to enter in many international markets with a relevant ‘ace up our sleeve’. The new system for humidification in the drum, called Dropless, which entailed a lot of research work, is an important innovation for the tanning sector. Even at this edition, it was a source of curiosity for the foreign operators who were guests at our stand.”
“The drum displayed at Tanning Tech,” he added, “is the current ‘top of the range’, but in the meantime we are working hard at the headquarters to launch new machinery and above all new technologies. Systems have evolved a lot in recent years, also in terms of energy savings and environmental awareness. We will certainly also increase the number of employees, the availability of new young people is a bit limited, however things are getting better, our brand is helping us, more than a few people want to meet us and are starting to approach us. This is certainly a positive aspect that confirms the good work done in recent years, which has made us grow and become a renowned brand. We currently have a young and motivated team, which we will soon try to put into action.” The results of the September edition of the fair were also positive. “The increase in foreign operators was undoubtedly registered,” concludes Fabio Gecchele, “the pandemic is certainly behind us. We were waiting with curiosity and impatience for the Chinese: most of all, the representatives of the large groups came to visit; although not all of them placed orders, it is nevertheless a step forward, evidently the intention is to return to invest in technologically advanced machinery such as the Italian ones. Overall, the outcome of this edition is positive, the non-EU market is better than the Italian and European ones. We hope that the situation regarding the various world conflicts will get better so as to facilitate the recovery of the economy internationally.”
