Footwear, Innovation, and Sustainability Take Center Stage at the UITIC 2025 World Congress in Shanghai

The International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC) has announced the call for papers for its 22nd World Congress, to be held in Shanghai, China, from August 31st to September 3rd, 2025. The event is poised to be a pivotal gathering for footwear industry professionals worldwide, who will convene to discuss the latest trends, technologies, and challenges shaping the industry.

The 2025 congress will focus on the theme of “Competitiveness and Sustainability in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” an area of increasing importance for the future of the sector. Organized in collaboration with leading organizations in the footwear world, the congress represents a unique platform for knowledge exchange and the creation of new synergies.

Researchers, academics, and industry professionals are invited to submit original contributions on a wide range of topics related to manufacturing, technology, and sustainability in the footwear industry. The deadline for abstract submission is set for April 11th, 2025.
