The buckles take on new, curious shapes, the closures take advantage of innovative opening systems, pendants and gaskets for leather goods combine metal with leather, the shoe clamps are filled with new ornaments. These are just a few examples of the creative experimentation that have successfully met the taste of several customers visiting the fair’s latest edition. Accessori Val Vibrata, whose name pays homage to the namesake valley – a territory deeply rooted in the manufacturing tradition and artistic-cultural vocation -, is one of the most important Italian companies in the design, production and distribution of small metal parts and components for footwear and leather goods, working in full respect of the environment, safety and work ethics according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SA8000 standards. The commitment to sustainability is also represented by the choice of materials, including brass with thick galvanic finishes for a higher strength, resistance and durability over time. “For about a year we have been dedicating ourselves to steel processing – the company explains – as it’s eco-sustainable and boasts hygiene features. However, steel requires more complex and therefore more expensive processing and finishing processes than brass. This still is a limit to its diffusion.”
