In summary, Ars Sutoria S.L. is a reference point in the fabrics processing, thanks to its many years of experience, its strategic location and its concern for the environment. Sergio Ugolini, boasting a past career as Director at Centro Accessori in Portugal, is the current Director of the company; hereinafter, he tells us how this partnership came about and what the future developments will be.
How long has the new district been active?
“About six months.
Had Sergio worked in this part of Spain before?
“I had not gone as far as Elche until now. This is undoubtedly a very interesting opportunity, but there is a lot of competition in the sector. However, I am convinced that with the technology we have at our disposal, we will be able to achieve very good results when we are at full capacity.
What are your objectives today?
“To be competitive in this dynamic market, we need to be able to adapt quickly to our clients’ constantly evolving needs. This requires us to constantly keep an eye on market trends and new emerging technologies, so that we can anticipate their demands and offer them innovative, cutting- edge solutions. To achieve this, we have created a highly qualified and motivated team with a strong corporate culture that promotes collaboration and the sharing of ideas. Only in this way can we develop products and services that exceed market expectations. We are convinced that, with commitment and the right strategy, we will be able to achieve outstanding results and consolidate our leading position in the market. Our goal is to become a reference point for our customers, offering them innovative and high-quality solutions that meet their needs in a comprehensive and efficient manner.
What timeframe are we talking about?
“As soon as we have all the machinery ready on site we can really break into the market. I believe that by the end of September we will have completed the entire facility.
Could you tell us how you started and what was your career path? My career in the industry began in 1989, when I started as a delivery man. Thanks to my dedication and experience, I quickly climbed the ranks until I became the administrator of the Accessory Centre. Later, I worked as a representative for several companies, acquiring sales and marketing skills that enabled me to achieve ambitious goals. In 1999, I received a proposal to move to Portugal. Given the difficult economic climate in Italy, I took the opportunity to create a successful new market, which continues to thrive today. Over the years, I opened a new business together with Enio Ruani, the former owner of E.M. Company, demonstrating my ability to innovate and adapt to market needs. In 2016, Marco Serafini contacted me to propose a new collaboration. Although I was satisfied with my work at the time, I saw the opportunity to introduce him to a collaborator of mine who could help him with his project in Portugal. However, the following year our paths crossed again and we started working together. For Serafini, I explored new areas in Spain and Portugal, creating new business opportunities. This collaboration is quite a challenge, but I am convinced that with the right commitment and strategy, we can achieve great results together.
Could you share with us the products your company is currently focusing on and what successful projects you plan to develop in the future? How do these products differ from competitors in the market and what benefits do they offer to customers?”
“Currently, our company is focusing mainly on DORA BAHIA jersey, GLASS glass wool and reinforcement products in general, in which we are extremely competitive. In addition, our heat-sealable films are gaining great success in the market due to their high quality and superior performance compared to competing products. We are proud to offer our customers innovative, high- quality products that meet their needs and exceed their expectations and we are excited to see how the market will respond to our initiatives. We look forward to reaching full operation to offer our customers even more and sharing our future successes with you.
