COSTRUZIONI MECCANICHE PERSICO, leader in the production of through-feed fleshing machines, keeps on carrying on R&D activities: new models ready to be launched on the market
COSTRUZIONI MECCANICHE PERSICO, headquartered in San Giovanni Lupatoto (Verona province) and specialized in the production of throughfeed fleshing machines, is very optimistic and confident about the new year. This was confirmed by Alberto Nieri and Nicola Albertini, respectively CEO and head of management, whom we met at the Tanning Tech Show, held in Milan last September.
“We are satisfied about 2021’s conclusion – said Nieri and Albertini –; as months went by, we have grown in terms of turnover. The only problem is to physically travel to certain countries due to the Covid emergency. That is still a big issue, even in these last months of the year, so 2022 forecasts are uncertain as well. Back in September, after the delivery of one of our machines to China, we were advised not to go there: so, we were forced to find a valid alternative, namely a remote installation. Our export share, which is around 90%, is of course a big deal, but we keep on being well established on the international market.”
“During the past year and a half – continue the two managers – we kept on working on-site, even during the first lockdown in spring 2020. The R&D activities have not changed, we have always invested heavily in this field the past and we’ll do so also in the future, aiming at developing and launching new projects on the market. What is the news to be launched in 2022? We always have something new on the launchpad. We do not want to stop; our history has always featured goals to pursue and carry forward.”
The balance of the Tanning Tech show, where the company displayed a through-feed flashing machine, was also positive. “That machine represents us – conclude Nieri and Albertini – in some way it’s our trademark. However, we did not bring a standard model, but a more advanced one, emphasizing the desire to always improve. The main innovations concern the electronic part, while with regards to consumptions, the previous series were already performing: the reduction of electricity is a goal that we pursued years ago. About the rest, at the fair we were able to do what we had set out to do, that is to meet our Italian customers and discuss with other entrepreneurs, a crucial aspect given that the trade shows were canceled worldwide for almost two years.”
