For the first time, Crm Informatica participated as an exhibitor at the Milan fair, offering its management system dedicated to the tanning supply chain, featuring an innovative software
At the latest edition of Simac Tanning Tech, the exhibitor Crm Informatica srl headquartered in Arzignano (Vicenza province) was an all-new presence. In its debut as an exhibitor in the show, the company presented Winfly Leather, a management system dedicated to the tanning supply chain, characterized by an innovative software, created and realized to meet the needs of the sector. The ERP management system turns out to be particularly suitable for tanneries, tanning mechanics companies, chemical industries and service providers aimed at the leather supply chain. The Vicenza-based company was founded in 1989, but only in recent times has it become firmly structured, making the leap and penetrating other sectors as well, such as mechanics and textiles; it also manages five car sharing companies, in metropolitan cities such as Rome and Turin.
“Winfly is a platform,” explained Andrea Colombara, software manager and second generation of the company, whom we met at the stand, “useful for managing many business processes and implementing the digitization of companies. The solution developed by Crm Informatica meets the needs of many market sectors, and in particular is designed for all tanning companies that need to optimize their work. With Winfly it is possible to integrate and manage the processes of multiple organizations and systems, automatically managing all resources. At the base of the Winfly system is technology and innovation, and at the Tanning Tech stand we find not only the various employees of CRM INFORMATICA, but also a next-generation virtual assistant, Gaia, who is able to answer many questions and solve problems.”
What are the processes for which it can be used?
“They are many including tag generation, monitoring of processing stages, purchase requisitions, expense note management and control, purchase orders, invoicing and more. The module allows for a 360-degree production and account management, such as management of production cycles, batches, orders, tags, dyeing and finishing recipes, inventory, progress stages with barcodes and integration with purchasing modules to determine costs.
How do you rate your debut at the Milan Fair?
“For us, it was a new experience and an excellent investment, also because in the Arzignano area we already have several customers in the tanning sector, not only among the companies who produce machinery but also among the exhibitors at Linea Pelle, the parallel exhibition to Tanning Tech. Our growth in sales and turnover has coincided with the facilities related to Industry 4.0. Certainly, in an international exhibition like this it turns out to be essential to be here, so we are very satisfied. We will almost certainly return to exhibit, also because we now have higher expectations and at the fair we made additional contacts, which add to our customers who are already many. The show was the right opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of the functionality and uses of our ERP solution.”
How is your staff composed and what is your business strategy?
“Our horizon is oriented toward innovation, a road we are traveling with a group of about a dozen relatively young people, mostly computer technicians and programmers, some of them new hires. Among our customers we count major tanneries that are advancing production with tablets and terminals, which is why more and more we need to be ahead of the curve and in step with the times. From a commercial point of view, we are expanding, we are beginning to have customers in the Tuscan district of Santa Croce sull’Arno, we are also looking abroad, recently we have set up management software for an American company in Long Island. Even in the chemical sector we have numerous customers in the Arzignano area and other municipalities in the Chiampo valley.”
Do you believe this sector to be strategic in the coming years?
“Absolutely, it will be more and more so. Having been established on the eve of the 1990s, the era of the technology boom and computerization, we have been a business reality projected toward the IT revolution with great push into manufacturing and industrialization. A habitat that has helped our growth, fueled by the input of our employees and synergy with our partners. We have embarked on the path of programming, with a great deal of research, developing in the field an innovative solution such as Winfly, but all the other products in our range are also constantly evolving, capable of adapting to customer needs. We look for new solutions to continue to offer the best of technologies.”
