Dami srl: a company in the footwear supply chain led by a woman, that is investing in innovation and inclusion, thanks to a human-centric vision of doing business.
Headquartered in the Marche region, Dami was founded in1968 and has stood out in recent years within the national footwear district as a virtuous firm, thanks to the guide of CEO Elisabetta Pieragostini who has been able to transform it into a true model of business that respects people, the environment and the community.
The latest edition of Lineapelle saw Dami play a leading role with a series of innovations about shoe bottoms, in the name of comfort and lightness. Among the top of the range was the COM(FOOT)ZONE sole, inspired by bare feet and made from 100% GRS recycled materials, offering a wider fit and more direct contact with nature. “The Com(foot)Zone sole was born out of our desire to create a product that was comfortable, sustainable and allowed people to feel closer to nature. The goal is to reclaim the right to regain contact with the ground, to realign the posture and walk more comfortably” says Elisabetta Pieragostini.
The Marche-based company is constantly committed to researching and using innovative and sustainable materials. These include PHIILON ET+, a lightweight, high-performance material, and two-tone EVA, which guarantees comfort and flexibility. GUM.9 rubber, transparent and soft, offers the characteristics of vulcanized rubber with reduced weight. Dami believes in all-round sustainability, a commitment that translates into concrete actions. As a matter of fact, the company is Carbon Footprint certified for both structure and product, and relies on recycled materials and low environmental impact production processes.
“Despite the challenges of the moment,” says the Managing Director, “we look to 2024 with confidence and tenacity. The goal is to consolidate the results of 2023 by focusing on research, innovation and product customization. The strength of our team, our passion for our work and our commitment to sustainability are the cornerstones on which we will continue to build our future.”
