Danese, a company based in Arzignano specialized in the supply of machines, spare parts and accessories for the tanning industry, is the leader of a new alliance between some brands of this sector: the aim is to meet all the needs of the supply chain
Danese, Calati, eZipCut, Hector Martinez HM, Aircom, Carm, Turnex. Seven brands, each identifying a leading product in their respective field, and a single team, so to offer the customer a single interlocutor, able to identify and solve all the needs related to the leather industry and its production system. This is the goal of the Tannery Equipment Team. The new project has been conceived by Maurizio Danese, owner with his brother Matteo of the namesake company, specialized in the supply of machines, spare parts and accessories for the tanning sector, and has been reported on a specific brochure.
“The Tannery Equipment Team brochure – explains Maurizio Danese – outlines a project started in these two years, marked by great changes; through that, we intend to aggregate as many companies as possible in the sector to our leader Danese Srl, aiming at collaborating for grow together, expanding their visibility and their range of action, each in its own area of expertise. The Tannery Equipment Team offers an alliance between companies in the supply chain: that is a big news for the sector, and it’s destined to broaden the boundaries of commercial opportunities and customer service according to the new scenarios outlined by globalization. Through this way of interaction – continues Maurizio Danese – we intend to bring the companies that rely on our professionalism directly to the tannery through their brands, making them known and appreciated for their respective know-how. With such an agreement we can cover all the needs of the entire supply chain, meeting every need of the customer.”
To date, the companies that joined this new alliance vision that goes beyond the concept of acquisition are officially seven, but also others have, even though they don’t want to appear formally. The Tannery Equipment Team includes prestigious brands such as Danese, renowned for the supply of spare parts, consumables and tanning and non-tanning machinery; Calati, a company specialized for over sixty years in the production of analog and digital thickness gauges; eZipCut, producer of pneumatic cutters for leather trimming at all stages; Carm, the buffing paper created for tanning processes; Turnex, a series of splitting blades produced by Lamebo with particular technical specifications; Aircom, an SME boasting a long tradition in the design and manufacture of automatic spray guns, which is expanding beyond the tanning sector; Hector Martinez HM, a well-established business born and developed in South America which, thanks to the team’s promotional activity, intends to support the world’s largest competitors in the manufacture of blades for shaving and fleshing machines. Seven brands that work in sectors compatible with each other, each with their own identity and expertise, but all gathered under the umbrella of Danese which in turn plays the role of distributor and problem solver, giving tangible, professional and above all personalized answers in short times through specialized interlocutors in their respective sectors.
The other idea underlying the concept of Tannery Equipment Team is to look to a future of growth also through the diversification of markets. “It is no secret – concludes Maurizio Danese – that every year the number of tanneries, and therefore of customers, is destined to decrease, even if the quantity of leathers made by the large dominant groups increases. The tanning sector represents for each of us an established niche in which to keep on investing in innovation, but we believe that to develop further it is necessary to explore alternative sectors beyond the leather industry. And in this case too, the interaction between companies is essential to find new customers and get new orders.”
