The operation that led the company of Arzignano to the acquisition of the prestigious brand is official: a warehouse with 10 thousand rolls for the tanning industry is available in Trissino

The entrance in the DANESE Group of CARM, prestigious brand that joins the sector made up of other important companies, worldwide leaders like Calati, eZipCut, and Danese itself, is effective. CARM, short term of Carta Abrasiva Resinata Multiuso in Italian, born in 2010 from the thirty-year experience of trained technicians, encloses in a single universal product any requirements that may arise from the leather buffing process, thanks to a paper-based product that is able to work at best from thin to thick, from wet to dry, whatever the conditions are. “It’s an important acquisition for us – explains Maurizio Danese, who perfectly knows the brand as he has been selling it as an agent from the beginning – because it allows us to complete our offer to tanners and to the rest of the industry, including calipers, trimming machines, thickness gauges and other essential tools specially for the daily work in a tannery. With this operation our group empowers the hegemony of a unique player that takes advantage from managing the distributed brands at commercial or productive- technical level. This way, in addition to granting the availability of products, we are able without going through intermediaries, to have control of the whole supply chain, in which further updates are expected in the next years and of course the launch of new products, technologically more advanced and innovative”. The entrance of CARM in DANESE will represent an advantage for the entire leather district in Arzignano considering that in the warehouse, located in Trissino, a neighbor city, we actually have 10 thousand rolls of abrasive paper ready for deliver, of any possible grain, in order to respond to every requirement. “Starting from this base, which is already conspicuous and huge – specifies the Group president – in the next years everything will be further developed and implemented with additional products and types based on the market demand. The advantage for entrepreneurs is evident: before, they just purchased paper, now they also have the one who owns all the brand implications as point of reference, who is able to directly respond on the product and also find new implementation ideas with the customers. At an operational level we have shortened the chain, becoming more competitive and faster in terms of times and service. “Never like in this period – concludes Maurizio Danese – flexibility has become a fundamental prerogative also in the tanning sector. The scarce availability, although irregular, of certain supplies has slowed down or in some cases has even blocked certain productions. The CARM warehouse in Trissino guarantees the availability of the product, responding to market demands for at least 5 or 6 moths”. Totally “made in Italy”, CARM paper is currently produced in 3 types, even if the Danese staff is already working to add any new series:
-LB known as light brown, this is the universal paper, aluminum oxide, that works, thanks to the very compact support even on wet leather, which previously needed double resin paper. Available from 100 to 1200 grit.
-FB known as fire brown or double resin for very humid environments or wet leather. Ready in the warehouse from 80 to 800 grit.
-AB known as cotton-faced is the paper sticked to the cotton cloth which is used to improve the leather grain.
