Elpa Service, the new brand debut at the Fair

At the Tanning Tech trade fair in Milan, EL.PA. Service, specialized in tanning automation, celebrated its 25th year by highlighting the new restyling that characterizes the new product lines

The important milestone of 25 years since its founding in 1997, was celebrated at the Milan fair, with the debut of the new branding and corporate colours. At the Tanning Tech show in late September, EL.PA. SERVICE, headquartered in Altavilla Vicentina (Vicenza province), a specialist in tanning automation, leader in hi-tech electromechanics and a manufacturer of complete plants and specific equipment for leather finishing, launched a brand-new look. The branding renewal reflect the future, as in 2023 the company will enlarge its plants inaugurating a more spacious headquarters, adjacent to the current one.
“We have set up an impactful stand for Simac TT” the words of owner Andrea Pegoraro, interviewed during the show, “ launching a new trademark boasting the same two corporate colors, namely orange, the symbol of technology, and black, which has always identified us. All of our machines will reflect this style, as will the information material and the new website. We decided to emphasize the new corporate concept, in these two difficult years when the pandemic stopped or drastically slowed down the development and technological innovation in this sector, we did not stand idly by. We have conceived a lot of new solutions and invested significantly in R&D activities, materializing ideas that will enter the market, once again proving our constant commitment and passion.”
At the stand of EL.PA. Service, the latest equipment stood out. The owner of the Vicenza-based company added, “In the exhibition hall, we created a laboratory capable of reproducing the entire process of a finishing line, combining drying and spraying in a single space and minimizing loading costs. This patented model is already operational in several tanneries and is being very successfull. We have re-presented it at this edition of Tanning Tech with updates, upgrades and additional features, confirming that this is a product in which we believe a lot. The machine allows you to make small-series samples: in the space of a manual booth, in small spaces, you manage to do the same processing as with the parameters of industrial production. With this method, any human errors and imperfections are removed, guaranteeing a real “preview” of what will then be the industrial production, minimizing the consumption of chemical product: savings are evident because you load the color directly into the gun without the need for external circuits or pumps that are used in production plants. The latter work on large volumes, but if you only have to produce a few leathers, the set-up operations on the machine can be real obstacles, in addition to the need to find the time and cost to stop a production line.”
“However, this machinery is not our core-business, which is instead represented by complete finishing lines that are on average 30-40 meters long, but we have also produced 65-meter ones: of course, at a trade show such plants can only be seen through the films. At the Milan fair we decided to bring, for the first time ever having been on the market since February, something technological to complete the processing such as the Co.Mis. (Surface Measurement Control) color bar, which is patented. This is a special system that can detect the measurement of a hide even if it is the same hue as the conveyor belt, as we work on the entire RGB White light spectrum as well as infrared.”
“Finally,” Andrea Pegoraro concludes, “we are also presenting our Asian office, an already concrete and functional project born from the collaboration of one of our former employees, Guido Frizzarin, who, having moved to Indonesia, and in collaboration with other leading companies in the sector, has opened a sort of operational branch ensuring a more noticeable presence in the commercial and technical spheres in the Asian market.
