EMMEZETA recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, still focusing on its initial mission: processing hides on frames.
Fifty years of experience in the business, but also a future that bodes well both on the domestic and on the foreign markets. This is the story of the brand EMMEZETA that celebrated, at the end of 2019, its 50th anniversary, considering that it developed its first frame in 1969 in the high Chiampo Valley. Since its foundation, it has been focusing on the drying and conditioning of leathers on frames, an activity that it’s still the core business of the enterprise based in Montorso Vicentino. As a matter of fact, toggling frame dryers are one of the most widespread, reliable and eco-friendly technologies for processing leathers, when it comes to the passage from the wet-end phase, after the dyeing, to the drying and finishing one – a well-established technique that has been evolving through time and that has turned out to be the perfect solution, able to guarantee premium quality and top-notch yield in terms of usable surface for an ample range of articles.
EMMEZETA, today owned by Feltre Srl, can be definitely defined as a pioneer in the field of tanning technology, concerning eco-sustainability as well. As a matter of fact, it has been one of the first companies to automate its machinery in order to increase productivity and to upgrade the heating systems: from a certain point of view, it started fostering a GREEN philosophy way before it became, firstly, a fashionable trend and, secondly, a forced choice for the whole industry.
Despite the growing success, the managers who, over the years, have been carrying on the business, still aim for steady improvement – the latter acknowledged as a core goal in the entrepreneurial strategy, pursued tirelessly and resulting in the launch and implementation of brand-new ideas and solutions.
Thanks to an ongoing commitment to research, EMMEZETA has developed and upgraded the Mach Sensation technology, that allows to enhance hides’ performances, by guaranteeing a soft, rich touch as well as a durable, top-notch yield, whose parameters are set by sophisticated, yet user-friendly devices. Among EMMEZETA’s flagships, a special mention goes to the model called ONE, a state-of-the-art frame for wet leathers, whose monitored management ensures the chance to process the materials at far lower temperatures compared to traditional systems. The ONE range entails a drying plant provided with automatic systems for the correction of the processing cycle – a one-of-a-kind solution, considered infeasible up until its launch on the market.
When employing ONE, leather, in a single process, goes from being completely wet to the required humidity parameter (10-15% H), without using other machines. Nowadays, drying operations can be carried out, if using EMMEZETA technologies, at temperatures inferior to 50°C, boasting unparalleled results when it comes to hides’ quality and softness, while guaranteeing first-rate yield performances.
In 2020, the enterprise will launch ZEPHYRUS, that is, a frame for the conditioning of damp leathers. It is a project kicked off a few years ago and carried on in collaboration with the customers, according to their needs and demands. Now, it is ready for its debut.
A technology able to ensure the utmost efficiency and quality, as well as the uniformity and precision of humidity at the end of the drying process – a pivotal feature, affecting also the following phases, that is, milling, staking and finishing: by using this plant, it is possible to achieve an optimal time control, while keeping a delicate, noninvasive drying for the structure of the processed article. The firm strongly believes that this machine will get a positive feedback both on the domestic market and internationally.
“Among the trade shows chosen for the launch of the ZEPHYRUS frame in 2020,” explained the company’s representatives, “there will be definitely the IILF exhibition in Chennai, India, a country in which the group has gained a very strong foothold, as well as Tanning Tech, taking place in Milan in February. On that occasion, we will welcome our customers, professionals and visitors, all eager to learn more about our technologies. For us, it is a great source of pride and satisfaction, because we believe that we can supply cutting-edge machines, able to fulfill all kinds of demands.
Thanks to the support provided by Feltre, world leader in the manufacturing of tanning automation systems, stackers, drum loading and unloading systems, and of an exclusive range of leather handling and transport products, EMMEZETA keeps investing in the research and development of its machinery.
The company wish to thank all customers, the employees, both current and former ones, the collaborators, the suppliers and all the people that have actively contributed to its success and to its ability to provide, with professionalism and efficiency, a leather-targeted service.
