At the latest edition of Simac Tanning Tech, the firm launched the new range of wet-blue through-feed sammying machines: it’s the PCR model, available on the market in two versions – hydraulic and electro-hydraulic.

The latter has been designed according to the Industry 4.0 standards: the hydraulic pressure is flanked by electrical engines provided with inverters. Thanks to PLC technology, it’s possible to manage all the machine’s parameters – speed options, pressure, safety, alarms. The implementation of an electric variable- speed drive equipped with an inverter ensures a constant and precise speed as well as a marked reduction in electric consumption and in noise levels. “We firstly devised four models, that is, PCR 3, 5, 6 and 7. Then we have doubled the number of solutions by developing also the electric version.
