Essebi, thermoplastic adhesives

Essebi was founded in 1978 by Mario Borri and Vincenzo Sormani, the two founding partners.
With offices and plants initially located in Busto Arsizio and currently in Solbiate Olona, the company has quickly expanded into the thermoplastic adhesive market, basing its success on the innovation, on the quality and on its own Management professionalism.
Among the biggest innovations by Essebi, certainly there is the thermoplastic rod cement, which was soon adopted by all shoe factories due to production speeding up, bigger reliability and smooth processing.
The machine transformation from using granules into rod cement has allowed Essebi to achieve the domestic market control and then, to expand abroad too, where Essebi is now present in over 86 countries, with prospects for further expansion.
Sales and marketing are managed by Mr Sormani from the commercial head office located in Vigevano, while development and production are carried out in a modern building of over 10000 m2 (7000 m2 indoor), in Solbiate Olona. In 2009, Mr Sormani acquired 100% of Essebi.
The company philosophy is based on the continuous research for productive problem better solutions; Essebi slogan (translated in many languages) says: “Your problems will be our future products”.
Thanks to the constant and profitable cooperation with the machine manufacturers, outside consultants and development inside staff, Essebi is able to produce, every year, new releases in the shoe field.
