“Synonymous with tannery machines worldwide”. This is the slogan chosen by FRATELLI CARLESSI, company based in Arzignano (Vicenza province) at the forefront in the manufacturing of tanning machinery, especially when it comes to the design and production of spray lines and drying plants – a slogan featured also inside the stand set up for the latest edition of the Simac Tanning Tech exhibition.
“During the fair,” stated Giulio Tandura, the firm’s executive director, “we have chosen to put on display all the main products in our range, including the latest developments. Without any doubt, one of the highlights has been once again Spray Lab, the cutting-edge spray line conceived for hand sampling: it is a valuable R&D tool featuring a compact size as well as top-notch quality standards, devised to comfortably try out all kinds of settings, so as to fine-tune the ideal parameters for each article and replicate them on full scale. Equipped with a user-friendly touch-screen panel, this pilot plant is able to copy perfectly the required working conditions and it allows to carry out comparative tests as well. As a matter of fact, Spray Lab allows to monitor drying schedules and to reproduce the various parameters such as number of guns, spraying system, speed and length of the conveyor, thus providing a simulation for different production results. Moreover, the robotic arm has been designed in order to thoroughly replicate the path, the speed, the spray jet and the number of guns for every single type of spray booth, while relying on a compact, small-sized work space.”
FRATELLI CARLESSI’s management was truly satisfied with the results and feedback got during the fair. “Industry professionals, including foreign ones,” explained Giulio Tandura, “are truly interested in this machine, as confirmed by the fact that is has already been purchased by some of the world’s most prominent tanning groups, provided with in-house production lines. Our market is somehow influenced by season trends; nevertheless, our sales network is global and the exports account for 75-80% of the corporate turnover, a share that will further grow in the upcoming years.” www.carlessi.it
