Gamar Italia’s QLS system, designed by Gianni Pozzi and his research team, has been chosen by Dalbello, leading brand in the production of top-ofthe-range ski mountaineering boots. The latter is a sector steadily on the rise, looking for exceptional lightness matched with first-rate performances and the utmost reliability. Therefore, the firm has singled out a component featuring the very same characteristics in terms of lightness, yield and safety, namely, Gamaritalia’s QLS.

Two technologies combined to effectively convey the excellence of the Italian know-how and creativity. Quick Lacing System is the innovative fastening device provided with a rotor, the result of the long-standing experience acquired by the Vigevano-based enterprise when it comes to the design of high-quality components for both casual and work footwear, fully compliant with the European safety standards. Easy to assemble, it ensures an efficient, comfortable and ergonomic fastening, conceived to deal with different workloads. QLS features three movements: rotation for lacing up, reverse rotation for millimetric opening, central push for swift and complete unfastening. The label placed at the centre of the rotor can be customized according to the type of shoe model.

Thanks to its creativity, to the ability to keep up the pace with the steady evolution of the market and of its demands, Gamar manages to develop fully eco-friendly footwear components. After a preliminary feasibility analysis, the enterprise is able to mould articles made in plastic material (nylon), the latter certified, completely recycled and devoid of any phthalate.
