Established in 1946, Gusbi firstly dealt with the manufacturing of machines for footwear processing featuring the “Goodyear” processing technique; then, it has then focused its attention on the production of solutions for the low-pressure vulcanization of rubber soles directly onto the upper as well as of PVC injection machines.

Founded in the Vigevano’s district, the company now counts on a global sales network and on many representative offices based all over the world. “Among the various initiatives, we have chosen to put on display at Simac the result of our collaboration with the brand Sagitta for the footwear and automotive sectors,” stated Irene Bianchi, Gusbi’s sales department. “Moreover, we have further upgraded our technologies in order to effectively meet the clientele’s demands, especially when it comes to casting machines. Water has replaced solvents for the cleaning operations, resulting in less odours and in a lower environmental impact. As a matter of fact, environmental safeguard is undoubtedly one our top priorities.”

Over the decades, the Lombardy-based company has specialized in the production of “turnkey” plants for polyurethane soles and footwear. To date, there are more than 1,000 machines installed worldwide. The firm is also committed to the design and manufacture of systems for the making of technical articles to be used both in the automotive sector.

Gusbi has invested resources in post-sales assistance and can rely on a well-provided spare parts warehouse. Thanks to a highly specialized technical team, it is able to promptly solve all kinds of setback that might arise throughout the machine’s life cycle.  www.gusbi.com
