Named Jet, the new closure system for footwear by Hawai Italia, designed to guarantee a precise, quick and secure fit in every performance situation. “We have revisited and optimised the traditional micrometric adjustment fastening system fitted on the skates and ski boots of the past,’ explains Gianni Fainelli, Sales Manager for Italy at the Verona company, ‘designing a fastening system that is no longer ‘visible’, but which fits inside the footwear, in order to obtain an essential design and a very clean aesthetic result, as well as a stable, complete and comfortable fit.
Versatile and intuitive, the innovative technology is suitable for a fashion product, but its performance in terms of strength and reliability is a fundamental plus, above all in the safety sector: “The fastener remains firm in the given setting, ensuring a tight fit without any tension loss. In addition, the quick-release system allows the shoe to be opened with one hand, a very important advantage for quick and easy removal in dangerous situations”.
A valid alternative to the classic Velcro fastener, the Jet system can be customised not only in terms of size, but also in terms of colours and finishes, in order to achieve special and on-trend effects and chrome plating. Of course, the move of Hawai Italia towards sustainability also continues: “If the customer is oriented towards an environmentally friendly choice, we are able to set the production of fasteners and fastenings in recycled plastic material”. In short, a unique design in the service of safety, which nods to fashion and is environmentally conscious.
