The Sportsystem Museum in Montebelluna reopens its doors with a completely renovated exhibition, the result of the “Digital Transformation at the Sportsystem Museum” project supported by Intesa Sanpaolo and CESVI.
Thanks to a successful fundraising campaign that raised over 100,000 euros, the museum now presents itself as an innovative and accessible space, capable of merging the physical and digital experience.
An interactive journey to discover the Sportsystem
The new exhibition, curated by the FormaUbis studio, offers an engaging and immersive experience:
- From the origins to the present day: a historical excursus that illustrates the evolution of the Sportsystem district, the cradle of sporting innovation.
- Thematic rooms: “Stone and Earth”, “Snow and Ice”, “Tracks and Fields” exhibit footwear and sports equipment divided by environment of use.
- The conquest of K2: a section dedicated to the 1954 expedition, with memorabilia belonging to the mountaineers Achille Compagnoni and Lino Lacedelli.
- Multimedia experiences: videos, insights, interactive games and an application dedicated to the products and athletes linked to the Foundation’s heritage.
A museum accessible to all
The project has made the museum accessible to everyone, eliminating architectural barriers and equipping the space with innovative technologies: touch screen tables, tablets and monitors for the use of digital content, including a virtual tour with a multilingual avatar guide and an animated timeline on the history of the Sportsystem.
A successful project thanks to collaboration
The renovation of the Sportsystem Museum was possible thanks to the support of Intesa Sanpaolo, in collaboration with CESVI, and the contribution of citizens, businesses and the Intesa Sanpaolo Group. A virtuous example of how synergy between public and private can enhance cultural heritage and promote the development of the area.
An opportunity to learn about the excellence of Made in Montebelluna
The Sportsystem Museum confirms itself as a reference point for the enhancement of the history and innovation of the district, an unmissable opportunity to learn about the excellence of Made in Montebelluna and bring the new generations closer to a constantly evolving sector.
