Italsform, uncompromising quality

Italsform faces the most difficult challenges in terms of shoe soles: respect for the environment and performance increase

Leather is elegant, it is comfortable, it is sustainable and above all in the luxury sector, Italsform’s reference sector, leather soles have been highlighted again for a few seasons for an overall rediscovery of formal footwear by many high-end brands. “We believe in it – they continue – because the art of know-how has always belonged to us and has always given us a product with precious details, impeccable workmanship and surprising qualities.”
Leather is a 100% natural, renewable and recoverable resource: “Our leather soles are tanned with vegetable tannins by certified companies, hand-dyed with natural water-based dyes, without synthetic laminations. To fully satisfy the goal of a totally recyclable product at the end of its life, we are studying how to make protective ‘films’ in recycled plastic that ensure the same performance in terms of sealing and aesthetics as those normally used in the sector.” The company’s commitment to respecting the environment is all-round. “We use the energy produced by our solar panels; we recycle waste materials by putting them back into the manufacturing cycle to create new items while reducing landfill disposal. The use of sustainable packaging is also essential for an eco-friendly approach that reduces the waste impact. “Our packaging is completely recycled and recyclable, from cardboard boxes to bags and adhesive tapes,” conclude Viviana and Davide.
At the fair, Italsform, headquartered in San Mauro Pascoli (Forlì- Cesena province) and specialized in the production of semi-finished products, soles, leather and rubber mono-bloc soles, displayed various innovations for casual shoes that explore new materials, designs and technologies. The rubber soles with large volumes intended for boots and moccasins feature great lightness and softness. New protagonists are the flexible structures designed to follow the movement of the foot during walking, ensuring utmost comfort.
