Bauce took center stage at Tanning Tech in Milan with a revised model of the machine that is recording success all over the world. The owners’ satisfaction with the exhibition
On the occasion of Simac Tanning Tech international exhibition, one of the most important worldwide in the sector, Bauce, headquartered in Trissino (Vicenza), showcased an innovative machine, announced before the start of the trade fair in Milan held last September 19-21, promptly attracting curiosity at the company’s stand. The Veneto-based firm, a leader in the tanning sector for over half a century (Attilio Bauce founded it in 1970, and the business is now carried on by his three children, Luca, Sabrina and Michela), particularly in the pressing and drying of leather, launched the innovative RMVT, the new traditional sammying machine, that is the result of the fusion of the experience of the RM brand in the traditional machine sector and the experience of Bauce in the through-feed machine sector. The distinctive feature of the new machine is its all-electric motorization, while other key characteristics are its robustness, reliability, speed of movement and precision in closing and shading provided by the electric drive system. The new RMVT will be available in two versions, with one or two felts, to meet various market requirements.
“We are quite satisfied with how the fair went,’” Luca and Sabrina Bauce told us in one of the few moments of rest during the three-day event. “Our stand attracted so much interest that at certain times it was not easy to follow all those who were curious about the machinery and came to ask for information. In the end, although with a bit of difficulty, we reached everyone: some of them will come to visit us at our Trissino site, the invitation to come and meet us is open to all. An increase in foreign operators was forecasted, at least compared to the 2021 and 2022 editions, and this has happened, also because we can finally travel around the world without restrictions. Significant is the fact that, already for some years now, these trade fairs are no longer visited by the curious or enthusiasts: those who come do so to assess the possibility of purchasing machinery or other products and are at least knowledgeable about the subject.”
In a rapidly evolving sector, such as that of tannery machinery, Bauce’s launch on the market of the RMVT sammying machine is a decisive step forward, also from a technological point of view. In recent times, however, the Trissino-based company has also continued to invest in other areas, starting with the wet blue through-feed presses, the range of which has been further extended and which has already been sold on all continents. Another innovation in 2023 was the new Bluepress H3 E-power, which closed the circle and completed the press range with the new simplified felt change system and electric motorization.
“The year 2023 closes with a positive result,” the Bauce brothers conclude, “while regarding next year, the hope is that the political turmoil and wars will not create the problems of the past few years, linked to rising energy costs and the availability of raw materials. The economic situation is certainly not easy, but we continue to invest and believe in our range, which we intend to expand further precisely to make it as attractive as possible and able to meet the needs of our clients and those who come to us for the first time.”
