According to the sales manager, the fair was characterized by good future prospects, created above all by new interesting and promising markets such as South America, led by Mexico and Argentina. “With regards to the innovations presented – continues Leoni – we have focused on highly technical materials intended for the security sector, with a keen eye on sustainability. In addition to the classic collection, we showcased several projects developed in collaboration with our customers, targeted solutions resulting from technology, innovation and research, which have always been the strengths of Lenzi Egisto®. We guarantee the highest standards and compliance with industry regulations regarding technical resistance to abrasion, cuts and tears, essential qualities when it comes to safety. We use technologically advanced fibers and raw materials such as polyamide, polyester and polyurethane, creating everything with high- tenacity features. Toughness that does not elude expectations even in terms of eco-sustainability and recycling: “We managed to obtain a material with excellent mechanical resistance performance – explains Leoni – also by using a mix of virgin fibers and PET fibers recycled from plastic bottles according to the RCS (Recycled Content Standard) certification. Research in this sense is necessary to contribute to the protection of the planet and arises from an increasingly widespread market thoughtfulness to environmental issues: the challenge is to understand and accept that a recycled product costs much more than one entirely made with raw virgin materials.”
