NEXUS, headquartered in Montorso, launched the BIG BROTHER, a new automatic leather stacking system for the tanning industry featuring a revolutionary technology
“The market is increasingly demanding and companies like ours must offer new solutions to keep up. Our venture is called ‘Big Brother’, the new automatic leather stacking system for the tanning industry will be the big news for 2024 and the following years.” These are the words of Mirco Roncolato co-owner and partner together with Luca Fracasso of the company Nexus, based in the Arzignano district, specialized in the design and production of electrical and electronic equipment for the automation of plants and machines specifically intended for the tanning industry, but also extended into other business sectors. “In this historical period,” Roncolato pointed out, “the client demands the best solution, which means having a functioning and tested end product in their hands. With the ‘Big Brother’ we are sure to give a strong and innovative answer: it is a revolutionary technology compared to traditional stackers because it performs the same function in less space and without operator intervention. We have been testing it for over two years in several tanneries, on different types and sizes of leather, to understand and solve problems, if any. We are convinced that it is a great project, obviously patented, capable of succeeding itself on the Italian and foreign markets.” One of the winning strategies of Nexus, founded in 1998, is the close relationship with clients and partners. “We trust them,” adds the entrepreneur, “especially those who favor cutting-edge technology; after all, machines must always evolve. We primarily try to bring innovation, while listening to their requests, and ideas are also derived from their needs. The most popular is machine performance, in particular speed, lower consumption and ease of use, because more and more machines can ‘guide’ the operator. Our company policy is focused on the needs of the entrepreneur and of the tanner who has to take care of production. From here comes the other innovation of 2024, already built and installed: TANNERY 5.0, a new system for the industrial automation of drum shelters. A proposal that meets the new quality regulations in the automotive sector. Among our customers we rank many tanneries, but as Nexus is a ‘system integrator’ we also operate in other sectors. Given our presence in the tanning district of Arzignano, we have developed a series of products that have allowed us to evolve and help local entrepreneurs. With foreign countries, the work is well underway; previously we focused on Italian districts including Santa Croce in Tuscany and Solofra in Campania. We are working with important brands that believe in us, the main goal is not to disappoint them, which is why we are very focused on what we do. Before launching a product on the market, we test it for a long time to be sure of its efficiency.”
