OFFICINE DI CARTIGLIANO, 60 years celebrated at Simac Tanning Tech

Officine di Cartigliano, founded in 1961, attended Simac Tanning Tech Show 2021 edition in Milan: on display, the best technologies and Radio Frequency, an absolute innovation in the world of leather drying

OFFICINE DI CARTIGLIANO will attend the Simac Tanning Tech Show, from 22 to 24 September 2021. The Vicenzabased company – – world leader in the design and manufacturing of tanning machinery, more specifically dryers, leather conditioning units, staking machines, radio frequency plants for the finishing phase and for crusts, in addition to dryers for both industrial and civil sludge, to machines for the food industry conceived for the pasteurization and sterilization of liquid and semi-liquid food – will have its space at hall 18, in a very large stand (E19, E27, F20 and F28).
The 2021 edition of the international trade fair, which, due to the pandemic, is the first to be held worldwide after more than a year and a half (the last one was the Tanning Tech in Milan in February 2020), will be an opportunity to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the company. It is an important stage in the company’s history that encompasses efforts, sacrifices and successes but above all people: thanks to each of them CARTIGLIANO has continued to grow and improve, becoming from a small factory to an international industry.
On this occasion, partners, customers, operators in the sector and visitors, both Italian and foreign, will be welcomed in the “CARTIGLIANO MUSEUM”, an area where history and future meet, which will be set up in an elegant and at the same time futuristic way. Inside it will be possible to admire the best CARTIGLIANO technologies and RADIO FREQUENCY machines, a news in the world of leather drying. Unlike conventional systems in which air is given from the outside to the inside of the thickness of the hide, the RADIO FREQUENCY designed by OFFICINE DI CARTIGLIANO works by letting water evaporating from the inside towards the external surface. The water molecules contained within are “excited” by this innovative system that evaporate. Through this procedure the water evaporates, guaranteeing a soft, smooth leather. Traditional systems use higher temperatures, while one of the advantages of RADIO FREQUENCY is that the temperature always remains low and constant.
As in previous editions, the top management of OFFICINE DI CARTIGLIANO, led by President Antonio “Toni” Polato, decided to pick a theme (in the February 2020 edition it was “The Sea and the Oceans”) that this year aims to bring attention to the Museums and in particular to how they have been able to evolve during the Covid-19 pandemic, developing virtual visits. Thus, CARTIGLIANO, too, to stay in close contact with customers, developed its own virtual world, through the Virtual Trial, to admire and explore virtually, a tool destined to become popular even when the health pandemic will be behind us.
Inside the stand it will be possible to see a prototype of the RADIO FREQUENCY, but also the evolved staking machine, model 416 Nero, the heart of the new “a-CNS” Cartigliano vacuum and the EFT Sludge Dryer Extruder. Great attention will be paid to sustainability also in view of the Green Deal scheduled for 2030. At the 2021 edition of Simac Tanning Tech (which from this year onwards will be relocated in September under the request of the entrepreneurs) OFFICINE DI CARTIGLIANO will display the best of new technologies, revised and evolved after the last year and a half of economic “empasse”, which the top management have spent by investing in R&D activities, so to forecast the news of the worldwide market in terms of innovation.
